Visit the new addition to the Hard Rock where Santana is headlining. If you want to do something different away from the main street visit the Springs Preserve for a little education about the desert landscape and how enjoy the daily entertainment offered there. For a casino where the locals go to try the Red Rock Station Casino. What a beautiful place and great restaurants. The pool is fantastic.

Hey there, I was working last night. I stayed at the Wynn with Sarah. Heads up - be very careful when booking online as the system works for both the Wynn and Encore. I went to their reservation system while on the Encore web site and for some reason I ended up having my reservation at the Wynn. I put in the promo code as per the letter I received at home offered to locals and it some how took me to the Wynn room reservation. Confusing I know but how tricky. They scammed me. Well, kind of. We still had a beautiful room with a south strip view that was terrific! Sarah was not the easiest person to be there with. She was too annoyed by every little thing. I wish I had a girlfriend to hang with me instead. I didn't even get to explore or anything. But here's what the Encore is like - the same as the Wynn but smaller. All red, French look, and lots of Asians. The place was packed. Lesson learned - 1) don't go with your daughter 2) don't go on Sunday. I'll come back another day when I have more time to explore on my own. So there you have it
